SWEET CORN AND U-PICK STRAWBERRIES

Strawberry Pie
1 baked pie crust
1 3 oz. package of strawberry
flavored Jello
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup boiling water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pint fresh strawberries
whipped topping
Mix jello powder with the
sugar. Add boiling water and
stir until thoroughly dissolved.
Add the lemon juice.
Refrigerate until mixture starts
to gel. Arrange strawberries on
crust. Spoon thickened jello
over the berries and
refrigerate. Serve with
whipped topping.
Strawberry Cheesecake
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup warmed honey
In a medium bowl, beat the cream
cheese until light and fluffy.
Gradually blend in the sweetened
condensed milk, then add the
lemon juice and the vanilla. Pour
the mixture into the prepared pie
crust. Chill for 2 hours. Top with
the strawberries. Drizzle the
berries with the warmed honey.
Excellent finish for your dinner!
Strawberry Cake
1 marble cake mix
2 containers white frosting (or, your
own homemade
recipe)
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
1 pint fresh strawberries, halved
Prepare marble cake mix per
directions on the box. Pour cake mix
into two round cake pans and bake
per directions on the box. Cool
cakes to room temperature. Remove
one cake for the bottom layer. Frost
with one container of white frosting
and place half of the sliced
strawberries over the frosting. Add
the second cake as the top layer.
Frost the top and sides with the
second container of frosting and
garnish the top of the cake with the
remaining sliced strawberries. Place
the halved strawberries on the
serving plate at the bottom of the
cake.
Low Fat Strawberry Shake
1/2 ripe banana
1 cup fresh strawberries
1 cup skim milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup ice chips or small cubes
Place all ingredients into
blender bowl. Blend at high
speed. Pour into 2 large glasses
and pop in the straws. Mmmm!!
